We now offer a solder-free version, making this kit especially suitable for children, beginners, and STEM learners.
Measuring just 76 × 81 mm, this compact clock is ideal for desks, workshops, or modern home interiors. An 8 × 8 full-colour LED matrix shines through a precision-designed faceplate to display the time in clear, glowing words.

Assembly & Setup Guides
Faceplate & Matrix Option
Includes the faceplate and 8 × 8 LED matrix only.
To complete the clock you will need to:
- 3D print the case
- Add a Raspberry Pi Pico
- Supply a suitable USB power lead
Additional Faceplate Options
- Black faceplate (with logo)
- White faceplate
- Black faceplate (no logo)
Faceplates are sold separately and do not include electronics.
Please note: the white faceplate slightly reduces blue light transmission compared to the black version.

Fully Assembled Option
The fully assembled Word Clock arrives ready to use. Simply attach the feet, plug it in, connect to WiFi, and adjust the settings through the web interface.
